Conservative leaders from around Texas, including Tim Lambert, former national committeeman for Texas, Robert X. Johnson, parliamentarian and Mallory Miller and many others  are coalescing to fight for a return to the rule of law within the Texas GOP.  Our own, Debra Medina, is the lead plaintiff in legal action taken against the state party.  Gary Polland, former Harris Co. GOP chair is the group’s attorney.  Visit www.fairconvention.org to follow and contribute to the group’s efforts.

Debra Medina provided testimony before the Texas House of Representatives Committee on Elections on Wednesday, June 25, 2008.  Medina reported on the “vote flipping” incident from the Nov. 2007 constitutional election that occurred when using the iVotronic voting system.  She also provided the committee with information that 2 of the 6 reviewers from the Texas Secretary of State and the Texas Attorney General’s office had, in Jan. 2007, recommended that the iVotronic system not be certified.  Jim March, a computer analyst and elections system from New Mexico has assisted Medina in the analysis of electronic data and reported on numerous flaws that he has found in the data.  View the testimony here: http://www.house.state.tx.us/committees/broadcasts.php?session=80&committeeCode=240
